On the surface of the blade are special laser-cut vents£¬ which dampen noise and vibration and help ensure a precise cut. The teeth of the Diablo 12-inch metal cutting saw blade have a Triple Chip Grind (TCG) design£¬ where a higher trapezoidal tooth cuts a narrow kerf ahead of a lower flat-topped tooth. This two-stage cutting gives a cleaner finish and eliminates burring.
Tri-metal brazing endows the Diablo 60T Steel Demon saw blade with added impact resistance. Instead of using a single silver-alloy brazing layer to bond its blade tips£¬ it has a flexible copper-alloy layer between two silver layers. This stops stresses and cracks from forming in the blade.
